3859121009 972e348e35 m About Smartphones
What’s the craze all about? If you haven’t heard of smartphones, we’d like to learn where you’ve been hiding all this time. Smartphones have been all over the news and chances are, you do know what they are – only you know them under a different name. Smartphones are mobile phones with computer like capabilities. What’s that? Aha! Yes, you’ve not only heard of them, you’ve probably seen them as well.  Packed with Internet access, email capabilities, address books, and a whole lot more, cell phones have come a long way since their first debut. But be careful not to confuse these newest toys with sandbox devices. Sandbox devices are tools that come pre-loaded with things like calendars, calculators, and a notepad. What differentiates them from smartphones is that users can add (download and install) additional programs to smartphones and they seemingly become mini portable computers for the people who use them. That – and the ability to edit the content that sits on them – is what makes these phones “smart.”  Some of the more popular brand names include the Blackberry, PalmSource, Nokia, and Windows CE. Yet the craze is extending to even some off-brand company names. Today, it’s hard to find a cell phone that doesn’t offer some sort of “smart” technology because it’s in such a high demand. The convenience of having information at our immediate access is phenomenal – so much so that thousands of programmers have jumped on the opportunity to build unique applications specific to these small machines. As a result, you can find tons of games, databases, GPA systems, weather reporting programs, and even small encyclopedias on these things – each accessible not at the click of a mouse – but at a few presses of a free thumb. Of course a mini keyboard is available for the text-messaging fan or for the poor fellow who can’t seem to get away from the office. In the latter case, don’t be surprised if you find the entire Microsoft Office suite displayed within a screen no bigger than a matchbook. Is this a phase? That’s highly doubtful. The market for these devices extends from the highly technical and professional all the way to the pre-teen socialite. The product crosses all demographics and thanks to decreasing costs – it sees no economic boundaries as well. The Wikipedia encyclopedia claims that “Out of 1 billion camera phones to be shipped in 2008, Smartphones, the higher end of the market with full email support, will represent about 10% of the market or about 100 million units.”But what is it that makes smartphones so appealing? As mentioned, smartphones give us the ability to not only carry our data around with us where ever we go, it also gives us the ability to edit that data any place – any time. In today’s “reality” based generation, we’re always looking for the opportunity to capture and relive a moment. And we want to share that moment with others. At best, smart phones give us the opportunity to express ourselves impromptu with entertaining results.Attempting to do the same with a bulky desktop computer or laptop is to cumbersome. Even some of the smallest peripherals (digicams, digital cameras, etc.) don’t give us the same opportunities that smart phones do. Being able to carry around a device for communication, creation, recording, and editing simply compliments the need for today’s generation to do more and then do it, faster!

3232183460 b5fc435aeb m Dating on Facebook, Myspace, Match.com, Etc..
Five years ago, I would have said NO WAY to meeting someone on MySpace or Facebook, but these days it’s a pretty common thing.  And, since I met my fiancee on MySpace I can’t say anything negative about it. However, if you have read my other posts, you will see why you still have to follow the rules when you are meeting and dating someone you meet on the Net.

1. Talk to the person for awhile, get to know them before you ever go out with them-The bonus of meeting people on the internet is you get to actually talk to them and get to know them without having to meet them and go through all the criticisms that follow on a face to face date.  Ask them questions about their lives, what are they interested in, what do they do for work, for fun, etc.. See if your lives are even compatible. There are a lot of “players” on the internet,so be careful. Don’t get attached too quickly, because chances are they are talking to 10 other girls at the same time.

2. When you meet up with them, make sure its a public place.  Don’t go to someone’s house you don’t know. Come on guys, you have seen Dateline..  Go to a dinner, so you can talk and do more getting to know one another.  Girls, make sure to follow the rules I have posted on how to act on a first date.

3. Don’t have sex on the first date-no matter how much you think you know them, bc you have talked with them for weeks so it feels like the 10th date. Don’t do it. Girls, it will make you look easy, and guys don’t try it bc it will make you look like that is all you want.  A kiss is OK, but again, don’t even put yourself in the situation where it could happen. Don’t go to his house, your house, parking in an abandoned lot, meeting over at another one of his or your friends homes etc..

4. Do something fun and interactive, since you have already done a lot of talking on the net, go miniature golfing or bowling or if you live in Texas go to Davenbusters or play laser tag at Main Event and play games.  It will let the other person know you like to have fun and will show a good side of you. Plus it shows you can be a kid again, and men like that. Plus at Main Event for those of you in TX, or Davenbusters, its like a place for kids but you can drink as well!!! Just remember, dont drink too much!!

5.Remember my rules on what to wear, what not to talk about, how to act..etc from my blog Ask Kirsten’s First Date Rules!!

6. If you are Christian or Catholic I know for sure there are dating websites out there for just people in your religion. I’m pretty sure there is one for every other religion as well. So if you feel more comfortable going out with someone that is of your belief system, then go for that. Because off the bat you have one thing in common!!

7. Make sure you look at that persons page in detail. Make certain they aren’t just putting what they want people to think about them on their pages. For instance, on Myspace people tend to put older pics of them when they were skinnier, in better shape etc.. Also make sure the page isn’t a fake. I can’t tell you how many times girls have stolen my pics of my Myspace and gave themselves a new name, etc.. It was pretty creepy!! So watch out for that kind of stuff.  If he only has like 2 friends on their, you might want to worry. Whatever you feel, go with your gut. Its usually always right!!

If you are having Canon SD630 camera, then its accessories are also very necessary as per todayâ??s trend. The Powershot SD630 camera has a very stylish look which demands to have stylish accessories. After purchasing Canon camera, the Canon camera accessories become very costly.

It is advisable to buy an accessory kit which costs less money. Many accessory items are available in this type of kits. Try to choose the kit which has the most useful Canon camera accessories. One of the most accessories for your camera is to take a camera bag or case in order to prevent your Canon camera from scratches. These camera cases are available in various sizes. Another Canon camera accessory which you may require is the memory card. Either you can take a memory card of high storage capacity or you can also opt for more than one memory card. This becomes very useful while you are on an outing or in a function.

A personal evaluation on Canon EOS 7D’s performance

3526174355 9a4556aa71 m A personal evaluation on Canon EOS 7Ds performance
I have been in this almost endless search for the ultimate digital SLR capable of satisfying my expectations. I want it to be able to produce wonderfully captured images plainly for my artistic and leisurely purposes. With all the many brands and newly-invented models of camera, I took time to study and choose based on the features each model takes pride on. Of course, you would not able to confirm the claims unless you get a firsthand experience of the product. So after purchasing a Canon EOS 7D, a digital SLR, I went outside and took several test shots.

What tantalizes me is this SLR’s 18 megapixel capture that absolutely delivers fine, sharp, and clear images. Despite the lengthy distance I must disregard just to capture my subject, the image comes out clear and strong. Even cropping will not hinder you in getting superb quality images. The huge megapixel power of 7D really got me hooked.

The focus is all right. Though not as defined and accurate as the other Canon digital SLR models, it exhibits a satisfactory performance that is acceptable for professional photographers. Anyway, it has an amazing ISO 100-6400 that enables you to capture images in different light settings. I have tried shooting my subject out in the portico an hour past sunset with a few lighting source around, and magnificently, I have achieved a wonderful effect with just little illumination available. Of course, the same applies when trying to capture in a normal bright setting. The colors burst in such a beautiful effect.

I was also quite impressed how this camera records HD quality videos. That is what I like about digital cameras; they can actually capture moving pictures.

It does not end there. The ability of capturing videos relies upon the fact that 7D is digital, but the process of fiddling with exposure is as manual as it gets. It still allows you to take in charge and do things on your own. In this way, you can experiment making movies in different levels of exposure, whatever pleases you. The video resolution can be up to 1920 x 1080. Just right for an HD movie.

I also do not have any problems with regard to its appearance and physical make up. Its body is made of magnesium, quite strong for any damage to effectuate. It is also light compared to other cameras’its advantage of being digital comes into play. I can just hang it around my neck like a long necklace with a huge pendant. Well, it looks so nice and light that you can comfortable wear it like it is a part of your clothing.

Personally, I find this digital SLR able to satiate my standards in taking photographs. I thought maybe sharing this information can help you with your quest for better photography experience.
