Can’t beat the price – this is a great little platform to rest your Pearl on while it’s charging or you are downloading into it. Plug’s into either the wall or your computer’s USB. Great addition to your desktop!!!

I expected to be able to just set a phone in the cradle in order to charge it.
You have to plug the cable that sticks out of the cradle in the phone’s port to do that.
The USB and charging cables are permanently attached to the base which makes this weird looking thing take much more space on a desk than it should, with the cables being constantly in your way.

One of the best accessories for my Blackberry! I keep the docking cradle on my desk for daily charging and synchronizing. The cradle saves time and protects my Blackberry from damage. My Blackberry Pearl is so tiny that the cradle holds it securely so it doesn’t (a) get lost among the stuff on my desk, or (b) accidentally get knocked off my desk onto the floor (ouch!). Definitely worth the modest investment!
