First of all… the product I received was different than the one pictured, not really a big deal to me as the actual phone holding pads work great for my phone (Sprint HTC Touch Pro)
The main reason for the low rating is that the mounting bracket is made of CHEAP plastic… the J shaped hinge broke with barely any force, and while it comes with the rubber pads to accommodate smaller bars and to prevent scratches, there wasn’t enough room to use one before it broke.
I ended up using zip-ties to cinch it on… and this works well since I can now use a rubber pad.
